I went to the movies tonight with a good friend of mine. One of the few left. Now, he has some friends who don't really like me and I didn't know why. I thought it was because of a water polo they claim to have lost on a technical error which was apparently my fault. I found out tonight it was for another reason. A reason that has nothing to do with my heart and my soul and the type of person and friend that I am. A reason that is based on a rumor, a story really. Not untrue but none of their business just the same. It was personal, told to them by someone who was seeking to hurt me and they succeeded. They shouldn't have hurt me but they did and I let them. We all know that even when you say we don't care, we do and so did I. The reason I say this is because we all go around saying something about someone or something. Judging and condemning it for being the opposite of our beliefs, or morals, or truth system. And you have to know what you are doing to that which you are judging. You are killing it. It is human nature to need others. Nomads didn't last because humans need validation. We NEED love and support. We need someone to tell us something positive about who we are and what we have done atleast once a day. And that's enough for a human. That's enough to get us by, make us happy IF we haven't been fighting off what 20 other people had been saying, all negative. Or even one person. Sometimes one single person can steal your cloud and send your screaming into the depths of despair and horror. And how did they do that? Because they condescened to tell you that you were wrong. You and yours weren't good enough. I say this because you never know who you are saying it to and when. That one little piece of negativity could come when that person is at the end of their rope and the next thing you know, you are watching to six o'clock news saying to yourself "I was the last one to see them alive."
